Why Select Polycarbonate Sheets?

In recent times polycarbonate sheet is gradually replacing glass because of several advantages. It is a perfect combination of being frame-resistance, lightweight, light transmission, high impact strength, anti-drop, UV protection as well as a charming appearance. Because of its several benefits, it is now being used in many fields such as industry, agriculture, ornaments and also public buildings to name a few.

Polycarbonate transparent roofing sheet are transparent like glass but the weight is not much. In fact it weights only half of what glass weights. Due to its lightweight nature it is not only easy to transport from one place to another it can easily be installed.

Though solid sheets are much stronger, but they are inferior to hollow sheets when it comes to thermal insulation. Solid sheets mainly find its usage in skylight, lighting, and helmets and so on. Solid sheets are relatively costly than hollow sheets. Hollow sheets are widely used in shop malls and greenhouses.
